The Axios report on Donald Trump’s so-called “final offer” to Ukraine makes one thing unmistakably clear: Trump doesn’t have peace plan. He’s simply pushing a blueprint for Ukraine’s surrender. A document of betrayal. A US roadmap for Russia to finish what it started, the annihilation of Ukrainian sovereignty and identity.
The plan, handed to Ukrainian officials in Paris, is a single page. But its content speaks volumes. It asks Ukraine to concede vast expanses of its territory, abandon millions of its citizens, and reward the very regime that has raped, tortured, and murdered its people. And in exchange? Vague promises, empty gestures, and insulting concessions dressed up as diplomacy.
WHAT RUSSIA GETS
• U.S. recognition of Crimea as Russian territory, legitimizing the first violent land grab in Europe since World War II.
• De facto recognition of Russia’s illegal occupation of Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia, regions where Russian forces have terrorized civilians and committed war crimes.
• A US pledge to block Ukraine from joining NATO, permanently denying Ukraine security as well as the right to choose its own alliances and handing Russia veto power over Ukrainian sovereignty.
• The lifting of sanctions and a resumption of US-Russia economic cooperation - welcoming Russia back into the global economy as if nothing happened.
In short: the genocidal aggressor gets everything it wants. No accountability. No punishment. Just legitimacy, land, people, and leverage.
WHAT UKRAINE GETS: NOTHING OF VALUE
And what does Ukraine receive?
• A “security guarantee” from an undefined group of European nations. Not NATO. Not enforceable. Just a recycled promise from the same West that once handed Ukraine the Budapest Memorandum - a piece of paper ignored the moment Russia invaded.
• A sleight of hand gesture, a sliver of Kharkiv oblast, a symbolic scrap meant to create the illusion of reciprocity.
• Passage rights on the Dnipro River - as if Ukraine needs foreign permission to use its own river. This is a grotesque, colonial insult.
• Vague “compensation and assistance” promises, no numbers, no mechanisms, no timeline. Ukraine is told: surrender your land and people, and maybe someone, sometime will help you rebuild what’s left.
• The recycled US-Ukraine minerals deal. Even as Ukraine is asked to give up territory, its resources are being earmarked for extraction. This is exploitation, plain and simple.
• The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the largest in Europe, would remain “Ukrainian” on paper but be operated by the United States, with electricity flowing to both Ukraine and Russia. In reality, this turns a war crime, the seizure of a nuclear facility by invading troops, into a three-party business deal. It legalizes occupation, commodifies conquest, and hands over vital Ukrainian infrastructure in a geopolitical shell game.
Nothing in this “peace plan” restores sovereignty.
Nothing restores justice.
Nothing protects Ukraine.
THIS ISN’T JUST ABOUT LAND - IT’S ABOUT PEOPLE
And this must be said with full force: Ukraine is not just being asked to give up land.
It is being told to surrender its people to rapists, torturers, and murderers.
This plan would abandon entire regions to Russian occupation - regions where mass graves have already been uncovered, where women and girls have been systematically assaulted, where children have been deported and reprogrammed, where resistance is met with imprisonment, torture, or death.
To accept this plan is to knowingly condemn millions of Ukrainian citizens to life under a regime that has repeatedly and unapologetically demonstrated its intent to destroy them.
To those who say land can be traded for peace, you are politically endorsing human torture.
THIS IS NOT A PEACE PLAN. THIS IS COMPLICITY.
Let’s call this what it is: US complicity in Russia’s Final Solution for Ukraine.
This is the culmination of Russia’s long-standing strategy:
To neutralize Ukraine completely.
To strip it of its alliances, cripple its economy, sever its land, erase its history, and shatter its people, until it exists not as a sovereign nation, but as a broken borderland, subordinate to Moscow’s will. Russia wants to delete Ukraine.
And why this plan? Why now? Because Donald Trump sees Ukraine not as an ally, but as an obstacle to his prize: reviving his personal network of deals, investments, and backchannel diplomacy with the Kremlin.
Trump’s ambitions aren’t separate from Putin’s. They serve them. His business instincts sync perfectly with Russia’s imperial goals: undermine Ukraine, normalize Russia, exploit chaos.
From oil and gas to rare earth minerals, from nuclear infrastructure to postwar contracts, For Trump, foreign policy is a platform for personal profit. But in this case, his profits come only if Russia wins. His interests are tangled with the interests of a war criminal regime. The lifting of sanctions, the legitimizing of stolen land, the backroom arrangements over Ukrainian resources, they all help Trump, because they help Putin.
This “plan” is a transactional surrender designed to pave the way for Trump to reenter global business with Russia unencumbered by justice, untethered from democracy, and absolutely indifferent to human life.
Ukraine, with its defiance, stands in the way.
So it must be pushed aside, not because it threatens America, but because it inconveniences a man who wants to deal with dictators and get rich doing it.
The language of the “plan” may be sterile. The channels may be diplomatic. But the result is the same:
Ukraine essentially disappears - not by missiles, but by meetings.
Not by invasion, but by negotiation.
Not with tanks, but with talking points.
All being pushed by the once-upon-a-time leader of the free world, now just another errand boy for the Kremlin.
WHAT THIS ALL MEANS
If this plan moves forward:
• Russia wins. But this is the grotesque inversion: Russia is treated as the victor, when in fact it is the losing aggressor. Russia has lost much of the territory it initially seized. It is burning through its manpower and resources at catastrophic rates. Its economy is crippled, its army demoralized, and its internal cohesion fracturing. Ukraine, despite all odds, has mounted devastating attacks on Russian infrastructure, reclaimed significant territory, and shown the world what courage looks like. Russia is desperate to freeze this conflict because it knows that if Ukraine is properly supported, Ukraine will win.
• The United States becomes co-author of tyranny. Under Trump, Washington is no longer a defender of liberty. It is a facilitator of genocide. The U.S. won’t just lose what little is left of its credibility, it will forfeit the right to speak of justice altogether.
• Ukraine’s land is divided. Its people betrayed. Its dead dishonored. The nation that stood as a bulwark of freedom in Europe is told to be silent, compliant, and grateful for its own dismemberment.
This is not diplomacy.
It is betrayal.
It is surrender.
It is complicity in genocide.
It must be stopped - by every ally, every democratic voice, and every conscience that still remembers what justice means.
Ukraine does not kneel to tyrants. It kneels only for its heroes.
And those who are in the wrong side of history and try to force Ukraine’s surrender, will themselves be defeated.
Trump is a turd. Slava Ukraine.
This piece is factual, well-reasoned and a ringing call-to-arms for all who value civilization, justice and peace.
